B&B owners receive bizarre threat via email.
We all know them: e-mails written in crooked English, in which con men try to steal money from you. Fraud with bad cheques usually is the case. But now an email has appeared in which B&B owners are being threatened with death. If you receive one of these mails, Bed & Breakfast Europe advises you to alert the police.
In the email, the sender pretends to be a hitman; a person who kills for money. His next assignment: to kill the B&B owner. “I took pity on you that is why I have made up my mind to help you if you are willing to help yourself. Now listen I need just 5,000 euros and you have to send it through bank transfer.
Reporting helps
Of course you must not take this email seriously. But still, it’s a threat letter. That’s why we advise you to alert the police in case you receive the email. It will be difficult to find the sender, that’s for sure. But reporting this email at least helps to determine the scale of the problem.
