Bedandbreakfast.eu has grown into the world’s largest B&B website. We have reached this together with you and over 150,000 other B&B owners, and we are proud of that! Our visitors are pleased and love revisiting Bedandbreakfast.eu. They do however mention one point for improvement. They would like to know immediately if a B&B is available, without having to wait for an answer from the owner.

Immediately knowing where you stand: this is how it works in web shops, and on many booking websites and it’s become a standard. Bedandbreakfast.eu has to move with the times. Therefore, starting 4 September 2013 we will make the following changes:

B&B’s that respond to new reservation requests via the Bedandbreakfast.eu booking system within 24 hours will appear highest in the search results. They will be followed by the accommodations who do not keep up their availability calendar. Within this main division, the bed & breakfasts with an extensive mention will have the highest positions.

Start with a clean slate
In order to let you start with a clean slate, we’ve already archived possible old reservation requests with the ‘Unhandled’ status for you. This is the moment to start using the reservation system! You will see how convenient it is. Are you not familiar with the reservation system yet? Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time to ease into it and to get to know the reservation system. The ‘Quick Guide to the Reservation System’ shows you how it works, step by step. In the list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) you will also find lots of practical information.

What if one time I don’t respond to a new reservation request within 24 hours? 
Then your B&B will have a lower position on Bedandbreakfast.eu only temporarily. As soon as you act on a request and adjust its status, your B&B is immediately placed high in the search results again.

I always respond to reservation requests via telephone or via my own email programme. What now? 
You can keep responding that way. Do make sure that you change the status of the request concerned in the reservation system. A new reservation request always has the ‘Untreated’ status. You need to change this status to ‘Reservation’, ‘Option’ or ‘Cancelled’ within 24 hours. Bedandbreakfast.eu will then know that you’ve responded to the request in time. Read how to change the status of a reservation request here >>
