A clever marketing strategy: offering a discount at a multiple nights’ stay.
Do you offer a discount on the room rates when guests spend more than one night in your B&B? From now on you can enter this discount in the system of Bedandbreakfast.eu. Visitors can see the reduced rate when they make a reservation request for more than one night.
Discount in four steps
In the owner service you can enter various discounts for multiple nights’ stays. Log in with your email address and password and follow the steps below (note: this function is only available for B&B’s with an extensive mention).
- In the menu bar, go to ‘My listing’ and in the drop-down menu click ‘Room prices’.
- You can now see the general rates of each room. At ‘Discount’ fill in a percentage, for example 10%, 15% or 20%. Subsequently, choose the number of nights for which you would like to have this discount apply, for example 2 or 3 nights.
- Click ‘Add’. The discount is now mentioned underneath your room rates.
If wanted, you can repeat steps 2 and 3 for additional discounts, such as increasing discounts for longer stays. You can save as many discounts as you like.
When are the lower rates shown?
The rates including discounts are visible on your presentation page. In the reservation request form guests see the price minus the discount percentage you have set fort the length of stay they have requested.
Change your rates with the price table
Did you know that by means of the price table, you can set different rates per room per day? You can plan the entire year in advance! Very useful if you would like to ask a standard higher price on weekends or when you lower your rates during low season. The discount option and the price schedule are only available for B&B’s with an extensive mention.
