Many B&B owners ask their guests for an advance payment. It limits the chances that guests will cancel their stay in your bed & breakfast for no reason. From now on, you can set the amount of down payment per room on your presentation page.
Entering down payment conditions
Step 1: In the owner service, go to ‘My Listing’ and in the drop-down menu click ‘Rooms’. Click ‘Adjust’ at one of the rooms to change the conditions.
Step 2: Scroll down the page until you reach the ‘Down payment’ header. Here, you can choose between two down payment options:
- Down payment: yes. […] day/days before the arrival date at the latest, […] % of the price of your stay will be charged.
- Advance payment: not required.
If you choose option 1, then fill in the down payment term of your choice and the down payment percentage. For example:
Step 3: At the bottom of the page, click ‘Save’.
Visibility for visitors
Your down payment conditions are shown with the room information on your presentation page. Visitors see the conditions as soon as they click the ‘View the room conditions’ section with a room.
