B&B Tips

Bed and breakfast in Brazil, hot-blooded holiday country

B&B Brazil

Everywhere in Brazil you can find gorgeous B&B’s

Gorgeous sandy beaches with clear blue water and coconut palm trees, a tropical climate, an abundance of nature, and fascinating culture: that is Brazil! In the Brazilian culture, Indian, African and European elements come together and it’s interesting to explore these traces. You can spend the night everywhere in Brazil, in fantastic bed and breakfasts (B&B’s), apartments and guest rooms.

B&B in Natal
Perhaps the most beautiful beaches of Brazil can be found in Fortaleza, known for its star-shaped fortress. Here you find broad, white sandy beaches with high sand dunes and steep cliffs. Also loved for its beaches is the sunny region of Natal, a great location for diving and snorkelling. Other well-known coastal resorts are Ponta Negra and Pipa, with its vibrant nightlife. Salvador and its surrounding region also offer wide kilometres of sandy beaches with palm trees and lovely, lukewarm water.

Another Brazilian nature paradise is Pantanal, with an enormous diversity of birds and other animals such as crocodiles, anacondas, and jaguars. True miracles of nature are the Iguaçu waterfalls in the state of Paraná.  There are about 275 waterfalls over a length of almost three kilometres.

Rio de Janeiro is a vibrant city with the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue as its main tourist attraction. You can take the train to the top of Corcovado Mountain, where this statue stretches its arms. Or take the cableway to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, with its characteristic rounded cone shape. If you are visiting Brazil in February then try to attend the carnival of Rio.  An unprecedented event with carnival floats and thousands of dancers.

Bed & Breakfast in São Paulo
With over twenty million inhabitants, São Paulo is the largest city of South America. São Paulo has many interesting sites, such as the Museu de Arte de São Paulo with works of among others Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso. The cathedral of São Paulo is one of the largest neo gothic cathedrals in the world.

Bed & breakfast in Recife
Recife, capital of the state of Pernambuco, is also known as the Venice of Brazil, because the city is built on islands that are connected by bridges. Here, you can visit many churches from the seventeenth and eighteenth century. Alongside Recife lies Olinda, a beautiful city, spectacularly located on a hill. On the island of Itamaracá you can visit the fortified town of Fortaleza de Santa Cruz. If you are into modern urban architecture, then the young capital Brasilia is highly recommendable.
